I've noticed since I knit my first strawberry I have improved in my knitting skills as I've knitted two more strawberries :D One for my friend and one for me. Though I may make another small one for me as the big one is a bit too big.
I'm off to London on Friday with some friends for some school work research, primary resources and all that jazz. Hopefully it'll be a nice day weather wise. And I am determined to take loads of pictures and find loads to blog about hehe. I wouldn't mind going to Evans on oxford street and looking for this black dress I wanted. You can get it online but I'd rather try it on to be honest. But if we haven't got time I can always take the mister down there :)
I may do that anyway to be honest and we can go all about London that way at our own leisure.
I need to start planning my personal statement for Uni too, even though I'm not so sure about going to uni any more. But I've been advised it's best to plan ahead and get these things done in advance.
So yes, that's that for the time being I'll probably update on Friday evening or Saturday about my little outing with friends :)
How is everyone else's week going? Are you up to anything interesting?
Oh you HAVE to go to Tate Modern. The futurism exhibition they've got there at the moment is amazing!
ReplyDeleteOkies, gives us mroe resources hehe. Where's tate modern again? Is it the one by the themes?

Yeah you have to go across the Millenium Bridge and it's in the old power station. I went on a college art trip about a month back, I think it's about a tenner to get into the Futurism exhibition if you've got a student card but the rest of Tate Modern is free (I'm pretty sure it is anyway). They've got loads of pop art and surrealism there as well.
ReplyDeleteAwesome thanks, I never been there before cause we hardly go over to that bit of lonon when we go down there. But I'll add it to our list of museums. I just kinda wonna get all the work done and out of the way in the first part so we can laze around for the afternoon/evening down there like normal hehe.

Haha yeah, London is so much rushing about! That Anthony Gormley thing is still on in Trafalgar Square too I think :/
ReplyDeleteSnazzy, we're going to the National first so i'll look out for it. Then we're off to that one near leicester square then saatchi. And perhaps the photographers gallery, that tiny building tucked away somewhere which I donno the name of but know where it is hehe.

Oh nice! I've never been to any of the others, but I wasn't keen on the National. I guess it depends on your tastes though.
